Dashable Home Assistant connections

Connect once, control everything

Setting up is simple: enter your Home Assistant URL and long-lived access token, and Dashable starts streaming live data straight to your browser. Add as many instances as you like and switch between them freely. Because Dashable connects over a secure WebSocket, your data is encrypted the whole way — and because it’s direct, it’s fast.

Dashable secure connection setup

Remote access, the way you prefer

Dashable needs a secure (wss://) connection to your Home Assistant. The easiest path is Nabu Casa Remote — it just works. But it’s not the only way: self-hosted SSL via Let’s Encrypt, DuckDNS, or a reverse proxy is fully supported and documented, and private tunnels like Tailscale and Cloudflare Tunnel work great too. Whichever route you choose, you keep Home Assistant hosted wherever you like — Dashable simply connects to it, directly.
